There are plenty of Italian habits which have been embraced with gusto by Australians - alfresco dining and the consumption of great coffee to name just two.

But if Alessandro Sorbello, pictured below right with Marca chef/ owner Mario Cali, has his way, we'll soon be adpoting quite a few more.
As executive producer for Italian Week (may 26-June 2) it's Sorbello's job to broaden appreciation of all that's great about Italy.
